Your Most Challenging Dream; Revamped.

Dreaming a new dream or simply revisiting one you’ve had for a while can be scary.

Just thinking about your most challenging ambitions and dreams can leave you feeling refreshed, exhilarated..yet exhausted and defeated (sometimes all at the same time!)

Some of you know that my biggest dream for the past few years is to qualify for the Boston Marathon before the age of 33.

Some days I focus on how much farther I have to go to reach this goal. Other days, I feel like the Boston finish line is within reach; but there is not one day that goes by that I don’t think about my dream.

Call me crazy, but I believe it’s a sign for me to finally…GET AFTER IT. 





But as many of you know, it’s easier said than done and well, we’re all gonna need some motivation and support along the way (we’ve got you!)

Here are some encouraging tips and inspirational reminders to keep you motivated so you can face your most frightening fears, crush your goals and finally cross the finish line of your dreams.

Your mindset has the ability to make or break you. Your outlook and the way you react does matter and makes a difference.

How different is your mindset before you hit the gym after a long day versus after you leave the gym after an amazing workout? Just something to think about.

Set yourself up for success by having a positive attitude and you could darn well, be half way there.

Be fearless. Well, we all know that’s unrealistic.

Face your fears. We could try that.

As scary as climbing out of your comfort zone is, it will soon start becoming the best (most motivating and liberating) feeling once you start breaking down your most challenging barriers.

Running Boston is not just something I want to do just because I think it’ll be fun. Although, I do imagine it being an unforgettable, amazing experience, I want it MORE because I want to prove to myself that I can.

I can push my limits. I can do things that are challenging (sometimes so challenging that I almost want to throw the towel in, give up…but then realize that because I did those things, I am more inspired and stronger because I did things I didn’t want (but needed) to do.

Break your days, goals up how you need to. One way of organizing and measuring success will not work for everyone.

If you are the type of person that knows you will need consistent outlets to stay inspired, then, you must plan accordingly (ex. commit and actually sign up for your next road race)

Constant, consistent sources of motivation and encouragement help.

Also, accountability. Who is holding you accountable? If it is just you, then I suggest also finding and connecting with a mentor, friend or community that share similar goals- you’ll be surprised just how far others (that truly care and understand) can take you.

Keep progressing (even the tiniest of baby steps matter!)

Celebrate small successes and keep moving forward.

And WHEN you get THERE… DON’T stop, just start drawing the mark of your next finish line.
