Dreamers are Everywhere; Inspire There

Start with a dream. Chase after it. Run with it.

Run Like REL’s mission is to inspire young adults to dream bigger and chase after their wildest passions-all with a never give up attitude.

I honestly had a harder time leaving for California this time around; I kept thinking about how excited I was about getting my programming and fundraising efforts up and running in the cities and I was concerned that once I was thousands of miles away I would loose momentum.

I couldn’t have been farther from the truth. My personal growth has been so evident since I have been here in so many aspects of my life. I have challenged myself and others to go the extra mile everyday; in everything we do.

Although I’ve only been in Los Angeles for a little over a month, I have never felt more excited for my last 29 days here and my journey ahead.

I have met and connected with amazingly inspirational and hard-working dreamers and shared so many amazing moments- that I will never forget.

Yes, my dream is to serve and make an impact in young adults’ lives in the Twin Cities, but being in a different city with so many dreamers, I have once again been reminded and refreshed with the relization of just how much of an impact I can have on anyone and everyone-no matter where I am.

I don’t need to be in a specific place to live out my dreams and inspire others to become the best versions of themselves.

I can do the same meaningful work in Los Angeles that I do in Minneapolis and I truly love that inspiring others is so universal and true.

I am empowered and excited to keep building my professional and personal network and to form long-lasting and meaningful relationships-this is what I love to do and the type of work that fuels me.

If there is one thing I want to be remembered for this summer, it is that I hoped to inspire others to dream bigger and to continuously chase after their dreams. I want them to think of me to gain strength and persistence when they are faced with challenges.

I want all the dreamers to know that I will always be their biggest cheerleader- no matter where I may be in the world at that very moment.
